Am I going to end up going full circle back to a vehicle with a 4.3 and a 4L60E? Maybe. Because this is the cleanest Sonoma I’ve seen in a long time.

It’s crazy cheap too for a 4WD truck with the relatively low miles it has. Crank window and manual locks too! Less stuff to break!

4x4 is a big plus there. It seems almost all the small trucks on Oppo are RWD.

I have the (seemingly unpopular) opinion that trucks should be 4WD. Yes I know trucks got by without for ages. No that isn’t gonna change my opinion.

Seconded. We almost never need 4WD at work, but recently I have had three coworkers get stuck in a place where 4WD would have saved them. It’s pretty costly to get a truck pulled out in the middle of nowhere.

There’s a ton of potential in these engines too, if someone knows how to get it out. I know this is a 2000 and not a 2011, but the engine is basically the same. Or maybe it’s identical, I don’t know that they did anything at all to the 4.3.

<3 my 4WD lil' truck.

It comes in handy time and time again and asks virtually nothing of us besides gasoline (its MPG is awful but you already knew that about the 4.3).

I miss my 4x4 Tacoma so much. My ranger is useless. I can do a conversion though, the Edge already has the 4x4 suspension.
